You help a child like Scott.

Scott will never forget pulling up to the Ranch...again. The 15-year-old thought that chapter of his life was done. He'd finished six months of care at the Ranch already — on top of time at other group homes, hospitals, and programs. But whenever Scott returned home, so did his behavioral issues.

Before the Ranch, Scott spent his childhood getting into trouble and fighting with his siblings. Growing up with a dad who worked long and unpredictable hours and a mom who had her hands full raising eight kids, Scott realized at a young age: If I misbehave when I feel ignored, I receive attention.

Coming to the Ranch was their last hope. Scott did pretty well at the Ranch, but when he returned home, his behaviors started up again, so he was placed at the Ranch a second time.

"The Ranch bent over backwards to try and find a solution that helped me be successful in the home," he says.

Thanks to you, Scott had access to everything he needed — the comfort of daily structure, physical wellness, spiritual growth, chances to play and be a kid, horse therapy, and more. And to ensure Scott's return home was successful, Ranch staff went with him on home visits to help his parents provide the structure Scott needed to thrive.
